Plannin'

A selection of half finished stuff.

I've not got enough half finished projects kicking around. So I shall go here http://www.victorialamb.com/store.html to get a few bits. A box of Catchananans will get penal troopers torso(s) and the las gun arms (penal troops being undeserving of enourmous should guards).

A box of Gors will get Catachan torso(s) and arms. This will mean hacksawing the Gor bodies to get the legs, but will give a convincing squad of beastmen.

A box of Cadians will be put togeather with kilts and Tam'o'shanter heads. The spare legs will get FW Vraks bodies and arms.

Four quite different and characterful squads from a bit of cuttin' and shuttin'.

  1. You really do have a disgusting amount of models.

I hope to finish another three this weekend, too - watch this space...

  2. It's an illness. In the ten years I concentrated on the RPG campaign, I was getting down to the ecology of the regions the campaign covered - the players/PCs could have enquired what the locals diets were and I could have told them.

I know I obsess to an unhealthy level over certain things. I suspect that the x-box generation, for whom access to the object of their obsession is a little easier and doesn't require a smigeon of academic interest or a huge amount of disposable income may produce a swathe of people even less socially agile than me. But you'd be the better judge than me.

btw, congrats on getting blogger to work again.

Looking forward to the next three !

  3. If you get a chance, could you send me a pic of the first three please? - only I forgot to take one, and I need a point of reference.

Actually I got a huge wodge of marking out of the way last night, so that makes the liklihood of getting this lot done over the weekend higher!

And yes - actual face-to-face social agility is sadly lacking in many of them. Or maybe I'm just getting older and more right-wing at last...
