My problem is laziness. I do all these things by eye. After all, it's a hobby and I'm supposed to be enjoying it. Which does not involve measuring many identical parts and re cutting ones with an ever so slight imperfection. So I get the occasional cock up. Fortunately it is only a hobby and the mistakes are generally easy to undo.
Fortunately an easy fix.
Every time I measure I get a different result.
