Fighting the long war

Admiral Drax popped up for a couple of days.  So bacon rolls ahoy !....  So we did a load of progressing of things which have been hanging around.   So isenkarn wheeled APCs (we did two of these), a revell 1/35 lynx (a much more complex model than any gaming piece) and a 1/35 BMP.

So these picts are just photos of other models, not the ones we worked on.  Who doesn't want an up armoured TL las-cannon sentinal ?  We talked about things and stuff generally and also about gaming and hobby stuff.

So the world is moving on, it's great to catch up with someone who I'd say was one of the two first 'hobby friends' that I made through blogging.

  1. Drax alive and well in the darkest south western parts of England? Excellent!

Wish he still had time for his blog

  2. Hello Old Bean!

It was an absolute delight to alight on Devos IV for a brief visit - a real treat.

Blog-wise, I'm afraid my ever-diminishing hobby writing time is now taken by the magazine: all my blogging is now for the Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy blog. Hope all is well...

  3. That proxy sentinel is amazing. Can you tell me a little more about it? Name of the kit, etc?

    1. They are from the dust tactics range. There were loadsa kits on the interwebs not so long ago, but they appear to have mostly dissapeared. Which they did do before, so there's still out there. Searching on Amazon shows a couple of soviet walkers and some other kits. I'm pretty sure that I got these through Wayland Games. On a prosaic note, mine are magnetised, with predator sponsons - las cannon, hvy bolter and hvy flamer.

Good luck with the search !

If we're lucky, someone else will browse this and have the info at their finger tips and drop it in.

  4. There are a few on Noble Knight Games. I just need to know which are closest in size to a sentinel.
